Econo Basement recently completed my secondary suit basement. Their workmanship & their intent to do a good job is Amazing ! The staff is very well behaved , courteous and easy to deal with . It took 3 different companies to get our basement finished, thank you Econo for stepping up!
They were on time and actually knew what they were doing. They fixed all the work from the previous company ( dont get me started) and the final results were my amazing basement !

An amazing experience working with Econo. The attention to detail and the customer service was the best. They came to our rescue after a previous job went south. The design team and the help that we got choosing colours, styles, product was awesome. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a home renovation project. Everything was going well, very friendly getting information for the quote. I set up a second meeting to review the quote, and asked to have it emailed to me to review myself before the meeting. They refused to do so, so I cancelled the second appointment.  I understand wanting to present a quote in person, however not everyone wants that kind of pressure. Very unfortunate, it does not leave a good impression...

I've been in the trades for close to 20 years now, and a journeyman for the last 13. I ended up using econo basement builders to finish off my basement. As a tradesman, naturally it was hard for me to allow myself to hire someone to come in, but I really just wanted to get it done quickly. Spare time is hard to come by, and as one person, a project involving so many different tasks/trades can really take a long time. Plus, a lot of the finishing work like taping and mudding, or setting tiles, I would prefer to have a pro do, rather than risk botching it up myself. I was really impressed with the fact that they actually finished the project before their promised deadline. In the trades world this almost never happens. I was expecting it to take about 30% longer than budgeted for time, and cost 30% more in the end, like most reno's tend to do. Plus,  The workmanship was quite immaculate, and im happy with the way everything looks. The plumbing and electrical roughed in behind the drywall looked good as well and care was taken with it, which is important to me. Their subtrades were always happy, and positive when they showed up to work as well. I believe played a large role in their attention to the details. I would definitely recommend these guys. I live in Nolan Hill in the NW of Calgary and Econo Basements just finished my basement less than a month ago.  Now I normally don't post reviews on the Internet but they left me no choice.  Such a beautiful experience from start to finish.  I wanted to congratulate the team at Econo basements for the wonderful job they did on my basement.
